For in-person deals, meet in a safe, public place (many people use a police-station "safe exchange zone"). To finish the trade, one person shows a QR code and the other scans it — or enter the backup PIN if scanning doesn't work.

Finalizing is protected by your device's Face ID / passcode, so only you can complete it.
