How shipping works
Real carrier rates and prepaid labels, with flexible options for who pays.
Trade Up handles shipping through Shippo, so you get real carrier rates and prepaid labels right in the app. When you list an item for shipping, you choose who pays:
- Buyer pays — shipping is added to the buyer's total.
- Free shipping — you cover it (buyers love this).
- You cover part — you subsidize some and the buyer pays the rest.
You'll also enter the package weight and size so rates are accurate.
